Kiak’s journey is why clients trust him with life‑changing financial decisions. Born in Cambodia during the “Killing Fields,” he and his family escaped the Khmer Rouge to a Thai refugee camp before immigrating to the U.S. With no formal schooling before age 10, he taught himself the language of money and went on to graduate from Haverford College with a degree in economics.
